Eytan Kramer is a 13-year-old boy with a generous heart.

He raised $18,000 in honor of his Bar Mitzvah and donated the entire amount to Innovation Africa, an Israeli organization that brings solar technologies that deliver water and electricity to African villages.

His donation helped improve the lives of over 1,000 people in Uganda.

Kramer sees his generosity as part of the spirit of Bar Mitzvah.

“Bar Mitzvah is turning into a man and taking responsibility on yourself, so when you take responsibility to give electricity to help other people, it shows you the way how to turn into a man,” he said.
