Rush Limbaugh

The news that the Obama administration is releasing hundreds of illegal aliens from prison before the sequester begins came as no surprise to Rush Limbaugh.

Picking up on a caller’s observation, Rush chimed in (FREE audio) “Barack Obama is employing tactics that have been used by people like Nicolae Ceausescu, Saddam Hussein and Fidel Castro. Fidel Castro released hundreds of thousands of just the most horrible characters from his prisons, and they infested south Florida in the Mariel Boatlift – and the same thing with Ceausescu and releasing his prisoners.”

Limbaugh added that this prisoner release is “an impeachable offense” (FREE audio).

“This is in direct violation of the oath of office,” Rush declared. “Defend and protect the Constitution of the United States and the people. We’re opening the doors of prisons before the sequester has even happened, before there have even been any budget cuts.”

Michael Savage

According to the latest ratings, Savage’s re-launched radio show is already No. 1, from New York to Nashville. The announcement led Dr. Savage to wonder (FREE audio) “If I’m having such ratings success, and I’m a die hard – well, whatever I am politically, define me anyway you want – how is it that the left-wing, Democrat, socialist establishment that hates everything American can pretend that they represent the American people?”

Michelle Obama’s appearance on the Oscar ceremony was, to Savage’s mind, a new low in American pop culture.

“It’s degradation not only of popular culture, but of the presidency,” he told listeners. “That institution is becoming increasingly irrelevant under this regime” (FREE audio).

Aaron Klein

Those 1.5 billion hollow-point bullets the Department of Homeland Security ordered are just the tip of the iceberg, revealed Klein this week. He reported on what else the DHS is up to, then continued his probe into Chuck Hagel’s beliefs about Iran and Israel.

Klein also served up an exclusive expose on how the White House controls the news media. Then, as Jews around the world celebrated Purim, comedian Jackie Mason joined Klein to lighten the mood, joking about Marco Rubio’s water bottle and the looming sequester (FREE audio).

Mark Levin

Mark Levin called House Republican Majority Leader Eric Cantor “a coward, a weasel and a hack” for supporting the unconstitutional “Violence Against Women” act, which would grant sweeping new powers to the federal government (FREE audio).

After Chuck Hagel was confirmed as secretary of defense, Levin blasted the media for ignoring the many red flags in Hagel’s background (FREE audio).

Laura Ingraham

Ken Cuccinelli, attorney general of Virginia and candidate for governor, told Laura and her listeners that Republicans need to start fighting for their principles instead of courting popularity.

He noted, “I have been elected in the most liberal part of Virginia without sacrificing my principles.”

Calling the sequester a “manufactured crisis,” Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas added, “The Senate is not governing, and the president has not passed a budget.”

He also declared Obamacare “unaffordable” – “It will fall over on its own weight. People like [the insurance plans] they have, but they can’t keep them, contrary to the president’s promise” (FREE audio).

Glenn Beck

Is Glenn Beck finally returning to television?

Possibly, if the host’s latest campaign is successful. This week, Glenn Beck launched, where fans can petition cable TV companies to carry his highly successful web-only channel, TheBlaze TV. The channel has already signed an agreement with the Dish satellite network, which extended TheBlaze TV’s reach beyond subscribers’ computers.
