(CNN) BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- A judge this morning sentenced former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky to 30 to 60 years in prison for molesting 10 boys.
He was convicted in June of 45 of 48 counts of child sex abuse. He'd met his victims through his children's charity, The Second Mile, and abused some of them on the Penn State campus.
In handing down the sentence, after hearing from victims, Judge John Cleland said to the 68-year-old Sandusky: "I’m not going to sentence you to centuries in prison, although the law would
permit that. It's too abstract, only a big number.
