(Salt Lake Tribune) — In October, a Southern Baptist-owned publishing house rolled out a “Pink Bible” as a tie-in to the national campaign against breast-cancer awareness, joining an array of pink products such as shirts, socks, Uggs and hair extensions.

This week, LifeWay Christian Resources pulled the Pink Bible from retail stores after buyers complained that the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation had made donations to Planned Parenthood.

“The sign might as well read, ‘Buy a Bible and support abortion,’ ” wrote Susan Tyrrell of the Bound4Life blog, according to a story in The Tennessean.
