America’s toughest mall cop is back. Fighting yet another black mob.
The last time we saw Darrien Long in February, he was confronting an abusive and violent black mob at a downtown Atlanta shopping center.
The mob threatened, cussed, assaulted, spit, challenged and called Long every racial and sexual epithet imaginable.
Long kept his cool. Then, even as he pulled out his Taser and one of his attackers went down, a video of the confrontation went up.
“Do what you are supposed to do,” he told Atlanta’s WSB-TV, “or get what’s coming to you.”
Now Long is back, with another confrontation. This time the crowd is bigger. The stakes are higher. But the outcome is the same.
Against long odds, the good guy prevails.
The video begins with Long confronting a man loitering outside the Atlanta mall where Long serves as property manager. The man did not want to leave. He became abusive.
With the loiterer’s friends looking on, the man jostles Long. Suddenly, the man is seen stumbling and flying 20 feet in the reverse direction.
Long had just punched him. And everything was captured on the video camera he wears on his chest.
The confrontation is just one of more than 450 examples of black-mob violence around the country documented in the book “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.”
“It’s on now,” said the loiterer to 10 or so of his friends. But after taking one step forward, he took several back. The mob jeered. But no one stepped forward to help him. Or challenge Long.
That was the end of that.
Soon after, Long confronted other members of a black mob inside the mall. Lots of talking, threatening, faking. Merchants were rolling down their metal curtains. The mob refused to leave. Long thought the loiterers had been dealing drugs.
Soon a Taser was out and deployed. And another member of the mob who refused Long’s commands to leave the property was on the ground, flopping around as Long’s Taser poured volt after volt into him.
“If they was smart, everybody in that hood would boycott the building so that mall loses money and dude loses his job,” said JJ da gawd at worldstarhiphip.com.
Another poster at the popular hip hip video site encouraged people in Atlanta to kill Long.
“WHY IS THIS HOUSE N**** STILL ALIVE??? HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT A SKULLY ON, WRAP A BANDANA OVER YOUR FACE AND SHOOT THE S*** OUTTA THIS CLOWN?”
But for every one cheering for the mob, several praised Long and his efforts to clean up the dilapidated neighborhood.
“My favorite show of all times is back,” said Lion James.
Van White backed him up, too: “Word to all thugs, ain’t none of us older cats scared of you, we just to d*** old to put up with your s***, but we will get in you’re a** if we have to!!!!!!!!”
The video continues with someone in the crowd throwing a rock at Long. Another man brandishes a gun. And still more taunting and threatening. Including lots of choice words from the lovely ladies.
Most of it the kind you might not hear in Sunday school.
But at the end, Long was still standing.

Weeks ago, WND first reported on Long's work.
At that time, most knew him as the "guy in the video who Tased that crazy lady at the Metro Mall downtown."
Before the video began, Long said something to four children at the Metro Mall in downtown Atlanta. Before it ended 10 minutes later, the mother and members of the crowd that watched the confrontation would threaten, cuss, assault, spit, challenge and call Long every racial and sexual epithet imaginable.
Long kept his cool.
After the woman and her friends ignored repeated calls for them to leave the mall, he shot her with a Taser, taking some of the fight out of her, putting the fight into the rest of the crowd.
"Do what you are supposed to do," he told WSB-TV, "or get what's coming to you."
Long also carries a gun and video camera. He now has his own Fan Page on FaceBook, and the video of his exploits is traveling far and wide to almost universal acclaim.
