(Mount Pleasant Morning Sun) James Persyn didn’t really know what was going on Wednesday night when there was a pounding on his door, but he had a feeling it was bad.

James, 14, a student at Shepherd High School, was watching television in his bedroom when his 11-year-old sister, Acelin, told him someone was at the door, knocking and yelling.

The two went to the front door of the home they share with their father, Jim Persyn, and his fiancée, Tiffany Ramon, on South Mission Road in Lincoln Township.

There, they found a hysterical Central Michigan University student, the victim of an earlier kidnapping and rape.
