Jack Abramoff, onetime power broker for the elite of Washington, D.C., will appear on the July 5 editions of Sean Hannity’s “The Great American Panel” and on CNN’s news program, “Starting Point,” with Soledad O’Brien to discuss how Chief Justice John Roberts’ opinion has opened the door for lobbyists and special interests in a way they could never have dreamed.

Abramoff is author of the best-selling book, “Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America’s Most Notorious Lobbyist,” an autobiographical exposé published by WND Books that unveils the mysterious and corrupt world of federal politics. It has caused a firestorm among Washington’s powerful lobbying community.

In his appearances, Abramoff has been warning that powerful lobbyists will now have constitutional authority to push Congress to give their corporate clients a powerful weapon to wield against competition. He explains that the Supreme Court decision will enable lobbyists to get their pawns in Congress to regulate ordinary economic choices and that Roberts’ decision gives government the ability to tax “inactivity.”

The underlying result of this historic Supreme Court decision, according to Abramoff, can propel an endless list of loopholes.

“Starting Point” airs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. EST, and Hannity’s show can be seen at 9 p.m. EST.
