(AKRON BEACON JOURNAL) — Wally Hopkins’ prayers for a wheelchair lift for his church recently were answered.

“We have a couple of people in wheelchairs that we have been carrying up the steps and into the church, and we know that is a liability, so we’ve been praying for a lift,” said Hopkins, director of the Kingdom Knights Motorcycle Ministry at Akron Bible Church. “We were blessed to get a lift, and were just waiting to have it installed, and some time between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, someone stole all of the copper wiring out of the control panels. Now, all we have is a steel shell.”
