Jonathan Cahn’s blockbuster “The Harbinger” and the WND documentary “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” are getting new attention from American Christians because of a lengthy appearance by the Messianic Jewish leader on Pat Robertson’s “The 700 Club.”
In an almost 20-minute segment, Robertson confessed that he was “fascinated with this book” and “read it cover to cover.” The host compared Cahn’s book to his own controversial comments just after Sept. 11, 2001, about God “removing the hedge of protection” from the United States of America.
Cahn agreed, calling 9/11 a heavenly “rebuke.”
“God removes the hedge of protection after calling a nation and calling a nation, probably to wake them up. Israel had known God and Israel turned away from God … but instead of turning back to God, they made a vow, ‘The bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild with quarry stone.’ So they defied God,” he said.
Cahn believes the exact process is playing out in the U.S., with America’s leaders making the same vows of defiance – even reading the particular verse of Scripture in which Israel defies God and provokes His judgment, Isaiah 9:10.
Even more astonishing, the “rebuke” came at the specific place where the U.S. first was consecrated to God just after President George Washington was inaugurated. Washington, along with members of Congress, prayed at St. Paul’s Chapel on his Inauguration Day. The chapel is located near Ground Zero and was used as a recovery center after the attacks.
Americans also unknowingly followed the precise actions of the ancient Israelis, including bringing a large “hewn stone” all the way from the Adirondack Mountains to serve as a cornerstone.
Cahn noted that after 9/11, “Everybody flocked to the churches and said, ‘God Bless America,’ but there was no real turning. The problem is the response was the same as ancient Israel. It was a response of defiance. We’re going to come back stronger than ever.”
Cahn pointed out that the economic collapse, the rhetoric of America’s leaders and even the government’s actions are all matching precisely with ancient prophecy, even down to the specific years and days.
Cahn warns: “God is calling America to return. God is calling his people to return. … Pray for America. The time is now. And to turn away from whatever we have to turn away from and get back to Him. Spread the word.”
Robertson enthusiastically agreed, stating, “The Harbinger – this is the read you need to make.”
Evangelist and author of “Hitler, God, and the Bible” Ray Comfort calls”Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” a “powerful inspiring trumpet-blast of thought-provoking biblical truth.”
Ted Baehr of Movieguide writes: “God bless you for the title “ISAIAH 9:10 JUDGMENT” video – it’s absolutely fabulous! The content and the production – so well done. Every Christian, every American needs to see this!”
Christian filmmaker Jason Jones, associate producer of “The Stoning of Soraya M,” cautions: “The Old Testament is full of warnings about what happens to nations that fall away from God. This movie shows history is repeating itself with America today – in powerful and convincing fashion.”
Even before this new attention from Christian leaders, “Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” had become the top Faith and Spirituality movie on Amazon.com. Christians are finding it impossible to ignore the connections between God’s judgment on His people in the past and His warnings for America’s future.
