(DENVER POST) — Explicit text messages bragging about a 17-year-old's alleged sexual encounter with an Englewood High School teacher, triggered an investigation that would eventually lead to the arrest of 27-year-old Alexandra Elizabeth McLean.
McLean has been charged with two counts of sexual assault by a person in a position of trust. She was arrested Wednesday and later released after posting a $25,000 bond, according to court records.
Sometime between Nov. 15 and 16, McLean allegedly had sex with the student, who was participating in a school production of "Lend Me a Tenor."
